Job summary

Mercy Anderson Hospital, part of Mercy Health, is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team. You will perform responsibilities including prescription verification, inventory control, and patient-facing support under the supervision of the Pharmacist.

The ideal candidate holds a valid ExCPT certification with State Board registration and has experience in retail, ambulatory, or hospital settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid ExCPT certification and State Board registration are required.
• Experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify prescriptions.
• Review and record patient information with prescriptions per guidelines.
• Educate patients on correct medication use.
• Support the Pharmacist in daily operations.
• Adhere to infection-control protocols and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
