Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting pharmacists and handling reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing.
• Support health and wellness initiatives and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or licensure as required.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring professional judgement.
• Provide accurate data entry and ensure proper pricing and patient interactions.
• Support coaching and training of clerks and technicians.
• Compound medications according to state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings in compliance with laws and policies.
• Provide additional health services allowed by regulatory bodies.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations; report illegal activity.
• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
