Job Summary

Assists the pharmacist in the daily routine of filling prescriptions, managing inventory, and assisting patients at the counter. Works under the supervision of the Pharmacist.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist with filling prescriptions: package and label prescriptions under the pharmacist’s supervision.
2. Pull inventory and count medications.
3. Accurately receive telephone orders.
4. Operate the cash register.
5. Assist customers at the counter.
6. Place orders with vendors to maintain appropriate pharmaceutical inventory levels.
7. Stock merchandise and food products as needed.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
