Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy services by assembling and distributing medications. The role works 10-hour shifts across four days per week, with every other weekend, and rotating start times between 6:15 a.m.

and 10 p.m. Candidates must hold national certification or Pharmacy Intern license and be registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire if new. Registration must be current for Kentucky hospitals.

Qualifications

• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire if new registrant.
• Active professional registration/licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and distribute medications, supporting pharmacy services under supervision.

Pharmacy technician is a certified pharmacy technician position who supports pharmacy services by assembling and participating in the distribution of medications. A pharmacy technician will need certification by a nationally recognized certification board. This position will assist the department's professional staff, under direct supervision, in numerous aspects of ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and monitoring medication use.

• Professional Registration/ Professional License or certification.
• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals), within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
• Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician OR Pharmacy Intern license
