Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Tech II for the Inpatient Pharmacy in Kentucky. The role includes assembling and distributing medications, supporting pharmacists, and working various shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

Certification and Kentucky registration are required, with hospital experience preferred. The position supports a full-spectrum health system with a broad scope of care and a commitment to nursing and medication

• If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
• Nationally certified as a Pharmacy Technician.

Pharmacy Tech II is a certified pharmacy technician position who supports pharmacy services by assembling and participating in the distribution of medications. A pharmacy technician II will need certification by a nationally recognized certification board. This position will assist the department’s professional staff, under direct supervision, in numerous aspects of ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and monitoring medication use.

Requirements/Preferred Qualifications

• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals), within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant.
• If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
• Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician.
• Pharmacy work experience preferred.
