Join to apply for the Certified Pharmacy Technician - Front Fill role at National HealthCare Corporation (NHC)

Work hours are 09:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday with rotating Saturday. Responsibilities include:

1. Pulling and picking medications from shelving and storage areas, ensuring accuracy.
2. Filling daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
3. Assisting in processing returned drugs and recycling/disposal per procedures.
4. Pre-packing, labeling, and stocking medications during low volume times.
5. Following all relevant regulations, including HIPAA.
6. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and replenishing stock supplies.
7. Alerting pharmacists to scanning issues.
8. Preparing prescription deliveries and ordering from wholesalers.
9. Participating in quarterly inventory and other duties as assigned.

Physical demands include standing for up to seven hours, occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State-regulated pharmacy technician license in good standing.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably long-term care.
• Proficiency in English, reliability, good organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
