Certified Pharmacy Technician – Front Fill in Franklin, TN is a position with Network HealthCare Pharmacy, part of National HealthCare Corporation. Responsibilities include selecting, labeling, scanning and preparing prescriptions for pharmacist verification at our Franklin location.

Typical duties cover pulling medications, checking accuracy, filling daily orders, assisting with returns, labeling and stocking, and documenting prescriptions in the system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy technician license is required by state regulations and in good standing.
• PTCB or ExCPT pharmacy technician certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Perform accuracy checks of final preparation prior to presenting to pharmacist.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Assist in pre‑packing medications; label and stock as needed during low volume times.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and replenish stock.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication or product that does not scan properly.
• Comply with safety, attendance and dress code policies.
• Prepare prescription delivery and process orders from wholesaler.

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Front Fill in Franklin, TN

Network HealthCare Pharmacy is a closed‑door pharmacy seeking a motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician – Front Fill to work in our Franklin, TN location.

Position Overview

Duties include picking, labeling, scanning, and otherwise preparing the finished prescription for final verification by a pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (prepack racks)
• Perform accuracy checks of final preparation prior to presenting to pharmacist
• Fill daily drug orders accurately, efficiently, and in a timely and prioritized manner under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
• Assist in pre‑packing frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed during low volume times
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and replenish all stock supplies needed each shift
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication or product that does not scan properly
• Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code
• Prepare prescription delivery
• Process orders from wholesaler
• Perform minimal non‑sterile compounding
• Participate in quarterly inventory and enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system
• Other duties as assigned; duties may vary depending on business needs

Physical Demands

• May stand and/or sit up to seven (7) hours per day
• Employee may be required to reach, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or walk intermittently
• May be required to work extended hours as needed
• May lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy experience, preferably in long‑term care
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to work at a moderate speed
