Job summary

Network HealthCare Pharmacy seeks a motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Franklin, TN location. You will perform front fill/order entry, assist pharmacists, and ensure accurate processing of prescriptions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA.

Candidates must be licensed, certified (PTCB/ExCPT) and have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and ability to work in a long‑term care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician license required by state regulations and in good standing.
• PTCB or ExCPT Pharmacy technician certification required.
• Previous pharmacy work experience in a long‑term care setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelving and store areas; prep for pharmacist review.
• Accuracy check of final preparation prior to pharmacist presentation.
• Fill daily drug orders under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Process returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications and label/stock during low volume periods.
• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system on a quarterly cycle.
