Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision in the United States. You will enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support cashiers and technicians in daily operations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, resolving questions, maintaining inventory, and supporting clinical services as needed. PTCB certification is preferred, and willingness to work evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
• Good math skills to accurately fill prescriptions (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Good computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred or required for promotion to senior technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and in related duties per company policy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining workflow in the Pharmacy Department.
• Handle cash register duties and help customers locate products.
• Support inventory management and coordination with external providers as needed.
