Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing medications.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Maintain customer experience by greeting and assisting customers.
• Enter patient information and maintain accurate records in pharmacy systems.
• Support inventory management and stock levels in Pharmacy Department.
• Handle cash and operate the cash register as needed.
• Participate in customer service and community outreach activities.
