Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is a plus.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; assist with coaching technicians if certified.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers, greet them, offer assistance, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storage of medications.
• Complete assigned tasks, adhere to policy, and participate in training to maintain knowledge.
