Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician-support role in Corinth, TX. You will assist the pharmacist, process prescriptions, and enter patient data using pharmacy systems while delivering a distinctive Walgreens customer experience.

Your duties include helping with inventory, cash handling, and coordination of clinical services as needed, with opportunities for growth and certification upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• PTCB certification or eligible is preferred.
• Good math skills are important for accurate prescription filling.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy per laws and company policy.
• Process prescriptions and enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
• Assist with inventory management and order/shipment handling.
• Support clinical services coordination and coordination with external providers.
