UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician in Pharmacy Administration at the University of Cincinnati's Medical Center. We are offering a $2000 Sign-on Bonus!

Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and patient records. Trainees work under supervision and do not perform duties exclusive to registered pharmacists.

Unit Details

• First shift, no nights or weekends
• No on-call
• Hybrid 50% after training

Responsibilities

• Procure and distribute medication orders
• Fill physician orders, prepare IVs, deliver medications
• Maintain stock, handle returns, enter orders and charges, generate reports
• Answer calls, organize work, maintain documentation, keep pharmacy clean
• Conduct monthly storage inspections, participate in quality improvement projects

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current pharmacy technician registration and certification recognized by Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• No experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• Ability to work accurately, communicate effectively, handle interruptions, prioritize, and adapt

Expected salary: $19.42/hr - $24.01/hr, depending on experience and skills.
