Position: Outpatient Pharmacy Technician (PRN)

Schedule: As needed to cover PTO/vacation in outpatient pharmacy.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Summary

The Certified Pharmacy Technician provides pharmacy services including preparing pharmaceuticals, inventory control, compliance audits, financial transactions, customer service, and maintaining pharmacy records. Works under the pharmacist's supervision as part of a healthcare team.

Essential Functions

• Receiving and verifying prescriptions
• Reviewing and recording patient information in compliance with guidelines
• Educating patients on medication use
• Supporting daily pharmacy operations
• Adhering to infection-control protocols
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED
• Valid ExCPT Certification (National Health Career Association or PTCB) and registration with State Board of Pharmacy

Experience

• Experience in retail, outpatient, hospital, or related pharmacy settings preferred
