Job summary

Mixtures Pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ, an independent retail/compounding pharmacy, is seeking a reliable Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our compounding team. Responsibilities include providing professional customer service to patients and providers, maintaining clear prescription communication, and efficiently using pharmacy software.

Training is provided for compounding; applicants must hold a valid CPhT license and have or be willing to obtain PTCB or EXCPT certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license.
• Active PTCB or EXCPT certification preferred.
• Experience in compounding is a plus; training provided.

About the Role:

Mixtures Pharmacy, an independent retail/compounding pharmacy, is seeking a reliable and courteous Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our compounding team. Primary duties will focus on compounding, we prefer previous compounding experience, but if you are the right fit we offer paid training in compounding!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, courteous customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintain clear and accurate communication regarding prescriptions and pharmacy operations.
• Utilize pharmacy computer software and technology efficiently.

Requirements & Qualifications:

License: Valid Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.

Certification: Active PTCB or EXCPT certification.

Skills: Strong computer literacy, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a professional, patient-focused attitude.

Experience: Compounding experience is a plus, but not required (training provided).
