Job summary

Covetrus is seeking a Certified and Licensed Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix, AZ to follow proprietary formulations, prepare dosages, and compound sterile injectables, ophthalmics, oral liquids, topical agents, and tablets.

You will work with the Pharmacist in Charge to ensure quality products, perform QA checks, maintain documentation, monitor inventories, and comply with cGMP FDA 503B, USP 800/797/795 guidelines; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or equivalent training.
• National certification and state licensure current.
• One year compounding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow proprietary formulations to compound prescriptions.
• Compound sterile injectables, ophthalmics, oral liquids, topicals, tablets.
• Complete QA checks and maintain quality documentation.
• Monitor inventory and report low levels to supervisor.
• Prepare samples for testing and participate in audits.
• Work with Pharmacist in Charge to ensure product quality.
