- Click Preferences...
- Click OK.
- Click Tools on the toolbar or the menu icon
- Select Options
- Click the Privacy tab
- Under History, select Firefox will: Use custom settings for history

- Click Allow, click Close, and click OK
- Select the Safari drop down
- Select Preferences
- Go to the Privacy tab
- Close the window
- Go to the Tools menu (gear icon)
- Select Internet Options
- Click the Privacy tab
- Click Sites button

- Click Allow, click OK, and click OK again
- Open Microsoft Edge app.
- Click on the More actions button in the top right corner and select Settings.
- Scroll down the settings and click on View advanced settings button.
- Close and reopen Microsoft Edge.
- Click the Customize and control icon in the top right
- Select Settings
- Select Show advanced settings

Job Summary:
In partnership with Front Range Community College (FRCC), BoulderMedical Center (BMC) is proud to offer the Pharmacy Technician(Certified) Apprenticeship Program.
As a BMC employee, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience in a realpharmacy setting while completing in-person and online courseworkthrough FRCC—all while earning a paycheck.
The apprenticeship includes approximately 20 weeks of classes,delivered both online and in-person one day per week at the FRCCcampus. In addition, apprentices will complete a total of 2,000 hoursof on-the-job training at BMC.
This comprehensive program combines academic instruction withpractical experience. Upon successful completion, apprentices willearn a diploma from FRCC and be fully prepared to take the nationalexam to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Job Duties:
- Works closely with pharmacists, health care professionals, teammembers and other pharmacies to fill prescription orders. Accuratelyenters patient profiles into computer. Prepares labels and receiptsand checks prescriptions for completeness and accuracy.
- Performs cash handling and accurately handles transactions at thecash register and records insurance information per Pharmacydepartment procedures.
- Performs inventory support. Receives, unpacks, checks, marks andproperly stocks drugs and supplies. Orders and maintains stock andOver-the-counter (OTC) specials. Competently operations inventorymanagement software.
- Adheres to rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacygoverning technician activities.
- Assists with the preparation of medication orders by compoundingor admixing medications under supervision of a physician. Checks allorders for completeness of information. Verifies patient informationand proper physician authorization.

Requirements:
- Applicants must be able to commit to either a 24 hour per weekwork schedule in addition to FRCC’s courses and course work.

- Interest in pursing a career in Healthcare
- Basic business office skills, clinical skills, and computer skills.
- Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology, prior healthcare experience.
