Job Description
A large telecommunications provider is looking for a NOC Technician that will be responsible for monitoring assigned network management systems for alarms and network health, ensuring the stability and performance of the network. This role involves working with internal teams to prioritize and resolve tickets that impact revenue-generating activities, performing advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues. This technician will run tests, check processes, assist with repair coordination, and document program progress while providing regular updates to leadership. Coordination with field technicians for maintenance and repairs, remote testing, and escalation of issues are key responsibilities. Additionally, the NOC Technician participates in quality control, performance improvement, and training initiatives, and may assist related teams during peak workloads.
This person can work remote anywhere in the United States and it is a day or night shift pattern, requiring a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills in a multi-vendor environment. This position is looking to pay $26-32/hr based on skills and experience as well as benefits are offered through Insight Global while on contract.
