Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join their team. The primary responsibilities of this position include managing data entry of prescriptions, handling provider communications, and resolving open issues within the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions.


• Handle provider/physician communications including voicemails, outbound, and inbound calls.


• Accept inbound provider calls through warm transfers, ensuring call context is established prior to acceptance.


• Resolve open issues submitted by pharmacists, other technicians, and the Incident Coordinator team.

Qualifications

• PTCB or NHA (ExCPT) certification required prior to joining.


• Must hold an active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license or be willing to obtain and have it approved prior to the start date.


• Professional phone presence in a support/service capacity preferred.


• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy preferred.


• Strong technical aptitude and experience with complex new software preferred.


• Competent in basic pharmacy calculations preferred.

Additional Requirements

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with one Saturday a month. Saturday hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
