Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate patient care.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is required.
  • High school diploma or GED; accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
  • Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication dispensing, and pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications as directed by a licensed pharmacist.
  • Maintain and organize pharmacy inventory, ensuring medications are stocked and stored correctly.
  • Assist pharmacists in reviewing and processing medication orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering patient questions about medications and instructions.
  • Process prescription refills and assist with medication-related inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper medication documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Assist in preparing and labeling medications and ensure proper packaging for patient use.
