Trinity Health in Mason City, IA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation and delivery across patient care areas. You will prepare orders, stock medications and IVs, and assist pharmacists with audits while adhering to policy and regulatory standards.

Prepares medication orders.
Deliversmedications and IV admixtures to patient rooms, critical care areas, and other ancillary areas.
Credits to the patient andrestocksusable medications/IVs returned to the pharmacy.
Assiststhe pharmacists with audits and completes assigned unit inspections.
Restocksautomated medication dispensing machines.
Restockstackle boxes and cart inserts (crash carts, airway carts, latex carts), andcompletescheck in/out process.
Communicates stockutilizationand ordering needs.
Compounds and labels extemporaneous liquid and solid products for patients according to procedure.
Prepares IV admixtures including TPNs, chemotherapy IVs, IV piggybacks, and syringes following strictly described, specific policies and procedures.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and proceduresin order toensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
High School Diploma or GED when nationally certified through NHA.
PTCB nationally certified technicians do NOTrequireHS diploma or GED.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy at time of hire andproof of.
Completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training for child and dependent adult abuse within three (3) months of hire.
