Job description

Ability to interpret and fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting. Develops expertise in all areas of pharmacy distribution (order entry, pull and count, front register, inventory management and patient care including Transition of Care discharge prescription program).

Education Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Desired:

• At least 6 months preferred, but not necessary.
• Experience in a retail position working directly with the public preferred, but not necessary.

License Requirements:

• Licensed by Commonwealth of Virginia
