Job summary

Walgreens in Lexington, SC is seeking an eager Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, processing prescriptions, and supporting Pharmacy Department duties in line with company policies.

You will engage customers, learn pharmacy systems, help with inventory, and contribute to a friendly, efficient store environment while pursuing PTCB certification and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Earns and maintains PTCB certification.
• Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and cashier operations.
• Coach pharmacy technicians in the operation of pharmacy systems.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and balance at the register.
• Enter patient and drug information and check for possible interactions.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering.
• Support clinical services as required.
• Develop relationships with local medical community.
• Adhere to company policies and Code of Conduct.
