Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.
• Strong math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
• PTCB certification is preferred or required for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and process prescriptions using pharmacy systems.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately and verify medicine interactions.
• Support inventory management and cash handling while helping customers find products.
• Schedule and maintain workflow as directed by Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist.
• Respond to prescription errors promptly and follow quality and safety procedures.
