Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician Certification and registration with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Technician.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in filling orders/prescriptions.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures including chemotherapy using aseptic technique.
• Restock medications for automated cabinets and perform cabinet maintenance.
• Assist inventory control and verify orders, rotate stock, monitor expirations.
• Prepare sterile products, label medications, and maintain records as required by policy and law.
• Assist with patient billing and related tasks.
