Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician for our Outpatient Pharmacy in Memphis, TN. The role requires TN Pharmacy Technician license and a national certification such as PTCB or NHA.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent education.
• TN Pharmacy Tech license and national certification or board certification.
• 1 year experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical pharmacy services under supervision of licensed pharmacist.
• Prepares unit dose medications and fills unit dose carts.
• Calculates, weighs and compounds ingredients for non-sterile products.
• Prepares, labels and documents IV products and sterile syringes.
• Maintains records and assists in inventory management.
• Delivers medications and reconciles patient charges as needed.
• Interacts with patients and hospital staff to ensure accuracy and safety.
