• Run cash register and answer telephones
• Learn pharmacy management system reception and patient queue release
• Follow instructions and complete tasks with urgency
• Ensure every prescription is checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing
• Assist in initial submission and resubmission of all third-party claims
• Inventory management: ordering, receiving, cycle counting
• Assist in checking inventory for outdates and processing returns
• Locate prescription files and manual records from storage
• Prepare and file manual records for pharmacist signatures
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and integrity
• Regulatory & Operational Compliance – follow state and federal regulations and company policies
• Perform all store clerk duties as needed
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Manage MTM and other patient-centered professional services
