UNC Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding and distribution for hospitals and clinics across North Carolina. The role involves a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts and participation in an incentive program.
The position requires NC Board of Pharmacy registration as a technician, CPT/ExCPT credentials, and preferred completion of a formal technician training program. Prior pharmacy technician experience is welcomed.

The Certified Pharmacy Technician's primary duties will include sterile compounding of category 2 and category 3 products under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Additionally, this position will be part of the clean room sterilization team with a minimum requirement of 3 cleans per month.
Working hours will rotate between days, evenings, and weekends.
This position qualifies for our Pharmacy Technician Incentive Program, which includes $5000 in commitment incentives spread over a two-year period. Payment is made after six months, one year, and two years of employment.
