Job summary

Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center in Virginia is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to perform pharmaceutical preparation, inventory control and patient-facing duties as part of the pharmacy team. You will work under the pharmacist's direction in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required ExCPT and PTCB certifications, High School diploma or GED, and experience in retail, ambulatory, or hospital pharmacy are preferred. Rotating shifts and competitive compensation apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid ExCPT Certification and PTCB certification.
• Experience in Retail/Ambulatory/Hospital preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and verifying prescriptions.
• Record patient information with prescriptions.
• Educate patients on medication usage.
• Assist Pharmacist in daily operations.
• Follow infection-control protocols.
