Job summary

Qualifications

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Able to lift 20–30 lbs short distances and 15 lbs extended distances.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
• Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
• Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity.
• Ensure proper labeling and instructions for patient use on containers.
• Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.
• Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and HIPAA.
• Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
