We are looking for Pharmacy Tech Trainees in Jeffersonville, IN!

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Tech Trainees to join our team. As a Pharmacy Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

1. Medication Dispensing

• Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
• Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
• Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product.
• Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.
• Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.

2. Inventory Management

• Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.

3. Compliance and Regulations

• Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Assist in record‑keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.

Minimum Qualifications

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or willing to get Trainee license upon hire
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous pharmacy experience
• Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line.
• Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.
• Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $18.23 per hour plus shift differential
