Job summary

MercyOne Central Iowa Medical Center in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Tech to join our team. You will provide technical support in pharmaceutical care, assisting with preparation and delivery of medications and sterile products under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

The role requires national certification and Iowa Board of Pharmacy registration at hire, with benefits including extensive health plans and education support. The position is full-time with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED when nationally certified through NHA.
• PTCB nationally certified technicians do NOT require HS diploma or GED
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy at time of hire
• Completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training for child and dependent adult abuse within three (3) months of hire

Responsibilities
