Job summary
Regional One Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician Navigator to support medication access, adherence, and affordability for patients in Memphis. You will act as a medication therapy liaison, coordinating with care teams and handling prior authorizations, copay assistance, and pharmacy resources.
Must have a TN Pharmacy Tech License and national certification (PTCB or NHA). This role emphasizes patient advocacy and collaboration across departments, with a focus on ensuring insurance
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required (PTCB or NHA) and a Tennessee Pharmacy Tech License.
- Experience with medication access and affordability programs is preferred.
- Strong collaboration with care teams and providers to eliminate barriers to adherence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication access and affordability needs including prior authorizations and copay assistance.
- Provide education on medication access tools and resources to patients and care teams.
- Coordinate with eligibility experts to connect patients to financial assistance programs.
- Process prescriptions with insurance verification and pharmacy data entry.
- Schedule deliveries and communicate with patients about co-pays and payment responsibilities.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliant handling of patient information.
