Job summary

Life Time is seeking a motivated Personal Trainer in Arlington, VA to design safe, comprehensive client programs and coach clients toward their health goals. You will monitor sessions, assess progress, and deliver exceptional member service.

The role requires at least 1 year of personal training experience, a Certified Personal Trainer credential, CPR/AED certification, and knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and program design.

Qualifications

• 1 year of personal training experience or more.
• Certified personal Trainer credential required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for class duration; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs that drive goal achievement and retention.
• Monitor clients during sessions on safe use of cardio, flex/strength equipment.
• Read, watch, and engage in required role trainings.
• Conduct fitness consultations with pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety and motivate members.
• Fulfill service requirements like assessments, desk duties, and equipment cleaning.
• Promote and sell personal training programs and services.
• Complete all administrative requirements for client plans.
• Stay current on credentials and continuing education.
