Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier, happier lives by building strong relationships and delivering education-focused trainings. You will create safe client programs, supervise sessions, conduct fitness consultations, and promote services.

The role requires CPR/AED certification, 1 year of experience, and a high school diploma. Comprehensive benefits and career development are provided for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of personal training experience
• Certified personal Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Monitors and instructs clients during personal training sessions on cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training
• Reads, watches, and engages in required training associated with the role
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening, lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting
• Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, education, and motivation
• Fulfils member service requirements such as fitness assessments and equipment operations
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan
• Stays current on credentials and continuing education to advance
• Ensures members receive superior customer service through personalized programming
• Documents all aspects of client programming
• Maintains credentials and ongoing education to progress through levels
