Qualifications

• Bachelor-level knowledge in exercise science or related field preferred
• CPR and AED certification required
• 1 year of personal training experience and ability to design client programs

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs that drive goal achievement and retention
• Instructs clients during sessions on safe use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting
• Assists members on the fitness floor to ensure safety and provide education
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services
• Maintains client records and progress documentation
• Remains current on certifications and industry trends
