Job summary

Ymca Of Central Maryland, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to deliver high-quality workouts to members, guests, and program participants.

You will lead 1-on-1, partner, and group sessions in a safe, welcoming environment and tailor routines to individual needs. Under the supervision of the Fitness Director, you will build relationships, uphold wellness principles, maintain certifications, and keep accurate appointment records while ensuring equipment is safe and ready for use.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nationally recognized personal training certification (ACE, NASM, ISSA, NCSF).
• Maintain ongoing education and CEUs for formats and certifications.
• Adhere to the Y's Code of Conduct and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, appropriately challenging exercise routines.
• Provide 1-on-1, partner, and group training sessions.
• Create a safe and welcoming environment for all members and participants.
• Record appointments and maintain ongoing communication with supervisor.
• Maintain equipment and report any issues or concerns.
• Promote wellness concepts and lifestyle education.
• Adhere to all YMCA policies and best practices.
