Job summary

WellSpan Health seeks a dedicated Certified Peer Specialist to support peers’ recovery journeys. The role involves providing guidance, sharing lived experience, and collaborating with teams to enhance wellness.

You will complete required training within 8 weeks of hire, learn the EHR Epic system, manage documentation, and participate in team meetings. A valid driver’s license and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.
• Self-identify as an individual with a mental health diagnosis and who has reached a point in their recovery to support others.

Responsibilities

• Complete WellSpan trainings as assigned.
• Complete First Aid and Basic Life Skills training.
• Complete 75-hour Certified Peer Specialist training within 8 weeks of hire.
• Learn EHR Epic system and related documentation requirements.
• Develop a schedule to meet peers and participate in supervision/meetings.
• Maintain a 70% billable hours ratio after training.
