NuLook Home Care Agency in North Carolina is seeking a compassionate Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) to join our Behavioral Health team. You will use your lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery to inspire hope, promote wellness, and help individuals achieve meaningful recovery goals.

You will provide community-based support, assist with skill development, connect individuals with resources, and encourage independence while working closely with Qualified

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina CPSS Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
• Reliable transportation.
• Automobile insurance.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medicaid Peer Support Services in accordance with NC Medicaid guidelines.
• Build trusting, recovery-focused relationships with members.
• Assist individuals in developing independent living and recovery skills.
• Connect members with community resources and natural supports.
• Participate in Person-Centered Planning.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in supervision and required trainings.
• Report incidents or safety concerns according to agency policy.
• Travel throughout the community to meet with members.

NuLook Home Care Agency is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) to join our growing Behavioral Health team.

As a Peer Support Specialist, you will use your lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery to inspire hope, promote wellness, and help individuals achieve meaningful recovery goals. You will provide community-based support, assist with skill development, connect individuals with resources, and encourage independence while working closely with Qualified Professionals and the interdisciplinary care team.

This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while helping individuals build confidence, improve daily living skills, and remain active within their communities.
