Key Responsibilities
  • Offer one‑on‑one peer support to clients, sharing personal experiences to inspire hope and motivation.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement individualized recovery plans.
  • Facilitate group sessions that promote mutual support and shared experiences among clients.
  • Assist clients in identifying and accessing community resources and services to aid in their recovery journey.
  • Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the organization and the broader community.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in peer support and behavioral health.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all clients.
Qualifications

Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in peer support or related field is preferred.

Required Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mental health or substance use recovery setting.

  • Experience working in a team‑oriented environment, preferably within behavioral health services.
