Job summary

PeerStar LLC seeks a PCB Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to support individuals with mental health challenges using lived experience. The CPS will provide hope, understanding, and empowerment, building trust and facilitating growth in a community-based setting.

You will join a team delivering recovery-oriented peer support across Pennsylvania, with mandatory active CPS certification and the ability to attest to recovery milestones. Travel and documentation duties apply.

Qualifications

• Must have an active CPS certification through the PCB.
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in recovery.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.

Responsibilities

• Provide hope and empowerment to individuals through shared lived experience.
• Promote self-determination and independence in service users.
• Document interactions and progress using the iPad as part of the care plan.
