Job summary

PeerStar is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) in Pennsylvania to provide hope, understanding, and empowerment through lived experience, helping peers conquer mental health obstacles.

As a CPS, you will offer 1:1 support, build trust, and promote recovery, with duties including documentation on an iPad, meeting people where they are statewide, and collaborating with care teams as needed. Active PCB CPS certification required.

Qualifications

• Must have an active CPS certification through PCB.
• Must attest to having a mental health diagnosis and recovery readiness.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within last 3 years, 12 months of full/part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation.
