In this role you will work closely with the clinical team to support recovery, develop coping skills, and help residents engage with community resources while promoting a peer culture in the treatment facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
• CPS certification issued by the state where the position functions.
• At least 1 year of experience as a volunteer, facilitator, or counselor.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with computers and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate delivery of cognitive behavioral curriculum in group settings.
• Establish and maintain a network of community-based services including state agencies, employment services, housing resources, and providers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with state, county, and federal program administrators.
• Support residents in navigating public financial assistance and insurance.
• Transport residents to community service events using Company vehicles.
• Identify members for peer council and advocate with collateral contacts.
• Assist residents in working with their case manager or treatment team to achieve recovery goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
