At Resources for Human Development (RHD), we believe every person deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful, fulfilling, and independent life.
We're seeking a compassionate and recovery-focused Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to join our Community Transitional Recovery Program (CTRP) team.
In this role, you'll use the power of peer support, advocacy, recovery education, and meaningful connection to help individuals regain control of their recovery journey. You'll help participants build confidence, strengthen coping skills, develop natural supports, and prepare for greater independence in the community.
If you believe recovery is possible and want to help others recognize their own strengths and potential, this could be the career for you.
The Community Transitional Recovery Program (CTRP) of Resources for Human Development (RHD) is a short-term, community-based mental health program designed to support individuals with high and complex needs as they transition from institutional or acute crisis settings back into the community.
Our goal is to provide the tools, supports, and individualized planning participants need to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment of their choosing.
CTRP serves as an important stepping stone in the recovery process, helping individuals stabilize, regain confidence, strengthen essential life skills, and prepare for long-term success in community living.
As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will provide peer support, advocacy, recovery education, and encouragement to individuals participating in CTRP.
You'll work alongside participants as they identify their strengths, develop recovery strategies, increase independence, and build the supports necessary to successfully live within their communities.
