Job summary

MedMark Treatment Center in the United States seeks a Part Time Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to support recovery through personal experience, engage clients, and promote a culture of empowerment. Duties include data reporting, community outreach, and collaboration with treatment staff to sustain client progress.

The CPRS will document encounters, refer clients to services, and participate in meetings while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and program policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately document information with computer skills.
• Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA and related laws.
• Engage respectfully with community resources and peers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an integral team member at MedMark Treatment Centers.
• Share recovery experiences to inspire hope and engagement.
• Support culture of recovery and peer relationships within and outside the center.
• Engage with community resources to aid enrollment and linkage to services.
• Assist clients in achieving personalized goals and maintain referrals.
• Collect data and report on client follow-up and outcomes.
• Attend meetings, trainings and peer support events as required.
• Safeguard confidential information and comply with center policies.
