Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare seeks a Certified Recovery Specialist to provide recovery-oriented peer support within our behavioral health and substance use treatment services. The role leverages lived experience to connect clients with resources, build recovery supports, and sustain engagement across treatment phases.

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPRS certification is required.
• One year of work experience in a substance abuse treatment facility is preferred.
• One year of direct peer support experience is preferred.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support care and recovery planning.
• Assist clients in connecting with community resources and ongoing support systems.
• Maintain regular contact with referral sources as directed.
• Complete timely documentation of all client and collateral contacts in medical records.
• Participate in peer record review processes and quality assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff across disciplines.

Summary:

The Certified Recovery Specialist provides recovery-oriented support to individuals engaged in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services. This role utilizes lived experience to assist clients in building connections to community resources, developing long-term recovery supports, and maintaining engagement throughout the treatment continuum.

The Certified Recovery Specialist collaborates with the multidisciplinary treatment team to promote recovery, improve outcomes, and support clients before, during, and after treatment.

Address: 600 S White Horse Pike, Hammonton, NJ 08037.

Shift: 12:00pm - 8:00pm - Must have weekend availability.

Pay: $18/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide peer support services utilizing lived experience to support client recovery and engagement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to support client care and recovery planning.
• Assist clients in establishing connections with community resources and ongoing support systems.
• Maintain regular contact with referral sources as directed.
• Prepare and complete concurrent reviews and communications with referral sources as assigned.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of all client and collateral contacts in the medical record.
• Participate in peer record review processes and quality assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff across all disciplines.
• Keep supervisor informed of client progress, concerns, and service needs.
• Provide transportation for clients to access community-based resources and services as needed.
• Participate in emergency service coverage as assigned, including after-hours support, crisis planning, hospital diversion, and commitment procedures.
• Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information
• Completion of all requiredtrainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education,Licensure, & Experience:

• This role is designated as billable. Employees in this position are expected to provide and document billable services in accordance with state regulations. All required licensure and/or certification must be active and verified prior to performing any billable services.
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPRS certification
• One year of work experience in a substance abuse treatment facility preferred
• One year of direct peer support experience preferred
