Trane Technologies seeks a Certified Payroll / Prevailing Wage Specialist to ensure compliance with Davis-Bacon and state wage laws. You will manage CPRs across multiple states, audit payroll data, and leverage advanced Excel and VBA to enhance reporting accuracy.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with electronic CPR systems to support a compliant payroll operation.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with Certified Payroll reporting, including Davis-Bacon requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret wage determinations and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with electronic CPR systems and large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit CPRs for multiple states in compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
• Audit CPRs, including related records, for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify required information such as dates, classifications, and project details.
• Ensure accurate wage determinations and fringe benefits are applied.
• Audit payroll calculations and investigate discrepancies.
• Utilize CPR systems like LCP tracker and eMars for reporting.
