Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, seeks a Night Shift Care Aide to join a 3x12-hour schedule (7 PM–7 AM), totaling 36 hours weekly. The role supports nursing staff, handles basic patient care, and participates in safety and documentation processes within a high‑acuity setting.

Requirements include a High School diploma and BLS; CNA/CPCT/A/EMT certifications are required or preferred. Competitive pay range and full benefits are offered to eligible staff.

• 1+ applicable PCT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
• Follows isolation guidelines and uses protective equipment; handwashing and safety regulations are followed.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Assists in delivery of patient care as a team member under RN direction.
