AdventHealth in Deland, Florida, is seeking a dedicated Nursing Support Professional to assist in delivering patient care on an acute unit. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and compassionate communication with patients and families.

You will work under RN supervision, support performance improvement efforts, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while advancing your clinical skills and bedside experience within a faith-based, purpose-driven team.

Formación

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• 1+ PCT experience preferred
• Bedside patient care in acute care or similar roles preferred
• CPR/BLS and CNA or equivalent certifications required

Responsabilidades

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
• Follows prescribed isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs handwashing according to policy, and enforces safety regulations.
• Exhibits a desire to learn and upgrades skills continuously.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assists in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy.
• Participates in obtaining a nursing history and reports abnormalities to the registered nurse.
• Assists in identifying patient needs
• Performs other duties as assigned.
