Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Dalton, Georgia is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Under the direction of a registered Occupational Therapist, you will assist in the treatment of patients of all ages using Occupational Therapy skills.

Successful candidates will have graduated from an accredited program, hold a registered license in Georgia, and possess skills in interpreting patient needs. The position offers opportunities for growth in a compassionate healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Certified Occupational Therapist license or eligible for license in Georgia.
• Certification in physical agent modalities is preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes Occupational Therapy skills to assist in treatment of referred patients.
• Assesses data reflective of the patient’s current status in relation to their age-specific needs.
• May work in outpatient department, inpatient department, or industrial sites.

Skills

Knowledgeable in BLS CPR

Ability to interpret patient needs

Basic splinting skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited program for COTA
